Pit Stop in St.Pierre

Saint Pierre Martinique

Once again, a wonderful sail... what is happening?!
Mostly downwind, and ok a little flukey as usual going around the corner into the anchorage, but all the same very pleasant.

The anchorage was surprisingly quiet compared to the last two times we visited. All the better for that as you almost have to be on the beach before you can drop the anchor, due to a shelf which drops off dramatically.

We nipped up to customs to clear out for the next day, and will continue to make our way North.

Our destination is Guadeloupe, but depending on the weather and how we feel, we may do an overnight stop in Dominica.

In the meantime, a quick drink at a local cafe to catch up on emails etc, some provisioning as the supermarket is good here, and back on to the boat to enjoy the sunset.
